Dr. P. Troy White
Ph.D., PRP, CP-T. A classroom agriculture teacher who became a credentialed parliamentarian, and who still builds every tool on this site for the room he used to teach in.
The short version
Troy White taught high school agricultural science and advised FFA chapters in Oregon and Idaho for a decade before moving into higher education. He is now Associate Professor of Practice in Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, based at the Panhandle Research, Extension & Education Center in Scottsbluff, where he prepares agriculture teachers and runs the Western Nebraska Ag-STEM Innovation Laboratory.
Parliamentary Owl Consulting is the practice side of that work: parliamentarian service, bylaws, training, and the apps and materials published on this site. The through-line is the same in both — parliamentary procedure is a skill people practice, not a vocabulary list they memorize, and the classroom materials ought to be free enough that a chapter with no budget can still train a team properly.

Beyond the gavel
Principal investigator and co-investigator on federally funded agricultural education projects, including iLEARN: Automation in the Heartland (USDA-NIFA) and work on AI and robotics skills for secondary agriculture. Published in Natural Sciences Education, Education Sciences, and the NACTA Journal.
